    Apparrently you don't plan on sweating alot... I remember those back in the 70's and they smelled like a bum's nut sack after awhile..

    Nice band, one of the nicer ones of the "Bund/Nato" breed I've seen so far.

    I would wear it untreated for a few weeks at least, then clean gently with some saddle soap and follow up with a dab of neatsfoot. Or just don't do anything and let your skin's natural oils and sweat do the job :-)

    Thanks gents! I put it on, and it's not too stiff. It should soften nicely.

    I think I'll go the "nothing" then maybe a little product later route.

    As for smelling like a uh... bum's nut sack. Maybe I'll take the band off in the spring before it gets to smelling that bad .

    Did I read that right? You'll take off the bum's nut sack in the spring? Where, exactly, are you wearing it? For earrings?
