    Yup.....,
Use it in my shoes. Also good to prevent chafing when it warms up.

There are 3 desks just in this room, a disassembled late 19th century desk in the dining room (we got it for spare pocket change on Sunday), a 1920s desk in the guest bedroom, one 1940s desk in the wife's craft room and a 1950s replica of a late 18th century desk in my workshop.

Sorry for the bad picture quality, my phone doesn't like low light conditions and it's night time already.

Partners Desk, turn of the 20th Century, with a lot of abuse in the past (it had been used as a workbench when I bought it):

This desk is used for interfacing with the world. I spend as little time as possible here. I have a desk in my shop but I spend most of my time at a workbench in the garage. The garage makes me feel warm and safe. There is a sign "My Garage, My Rules"

The desk in the shop is not used very often. The white bins are where I keep razors and razor parts.

    The garage

If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

We should expand this thread to "office" pictures vs desks. Offices tell a much larger story. Here's the other half of my office after the destruction caused by "hurricane Jacob":
