Twinkie for your thoughts
So, I'll be stocking up on Twinkies tonight. Hostess has gone under. Check the news for details. I admit, I don't know all the facts, but apparently a union has cut of the nose to spite the face. Striking for better pay is one thing, striking until you're jobless seems like a bad idea. Anyone else have comments about the union strike, the people out of work or, worst of all, the potential lack of Twinkies in the future?
In general, I'm saddened by this turn of events.Backroads... Nature's Race Track

Sorry those people have lost their jobs. Labor and management. I'm sure there are two sides to the story. OTOH, such unhealthy foods should be what is against the law rather than innocuous weeds such as marijuana.
BTW, never ate a twinkie and I don't smoke marijuana.

Re: Twinkie for your thoughts
I actually tried one a few months ago. Not really very good I didn't think. I remembered them tasting way better when I was a kid.

That's a shame, but just wondering, do those now unemployed union workers get any portion of their union dues back seems how the company is going out of business and therefore their union is now useless?

Thanked: 13249I am a little lost with this one I mean how do you have all these states voting for legal pot then have no Hostess Twinkies ?????
There is something wrong here, you would think Hostess would be gearing up for the Munchy rush that is sure to come

It's...just...not right It's going to be like Woody Harrelson in zombie land! I don't have one but every blue moon, but son of a biscuit atleast you had the option. I am empathetic for those that lost their jobs, but at some point you gotta decide if a bigger paycheck or feeding your family at all is more important?
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
