Just won these on the bay. A apir of brand new William Lennon Ammo boots. William Lennon is a little factory in the Derbyshire dales that still makes work boots the old fashioned way and at a good price too.
William Lennon Boots
The boots are built like the proverbial brick s**thouse and I reckon they will see me out!

I had... as you see I said had... a pair of cheap mesh water shoes that I wore for the last 5 years... They were the best
... I went to the back doctor the other day and he looked at them and looked at me and said... "XXXXXXXXXXXX" so when I got home they went in the trash...
My back thanks me...Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated...

Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars, hi-tops, been my basic shoe since I was 9. Otherwise I've got three pairs of Docs 8, 10, and 14-hole, one pair of Gripfast (another english boot) and Sanuk sandals (they're lined with yoga-mat material, I can walk for miles and miles and miles in them) for the So Cal summer.
Just sayin...

I feel ya Phil. I had to chuck out me favourite pair of thongs the other day (the Aussie style of thongs that go on yer feet, and not up yer bum crack)...15 years I had them, and man were they comfortable, Moulded to my feet. But just the other day, they up and give in on me. My wife told me it would be silly to hold a funeral for them, and we couldn't really afford the full sized coffin for what amounted to a shabby pair of footwear. She just didn't seem to understand. Faithful service like that should be rewarded with more than being tossed in the wheely bin.

Maybe a backyard funeral pyre would be more fitting. Respectful, traditional and kind to the wallet.
