Re: Shoes
For work its G.H. Bass Co. leather slip ons that are reminiscent of the Merrill World Traveler shoes. A touch less casual. I have a pairs of both brown and black. I have a pair of brown Børns that are more casual but not as comfy. Great for driving, though.
I have a pair of Timberland waterproof hiking boots that get worn pretty often any time I'm not at work. They make nice boots after you get past the love affair that hip hop artists have for them.
My ski boots are custom fitted Nordica Spews Machine 12s. They tend to bruise my shins up when I'm having fun.

I wear Johnston Murphy shoes mostly. I have both casual and dress wear. Sneakers I wear New Balance/Nike. I also have Pair of Tony Lama Boots I picked up recently on my last trip to the South west. I am amazed at how comfortable cowboy boots actually are.

Shush Wxman...at least I don't smoke placement cigarettes out of a little blue box that creates vapor to make it look like you are actually smoking.

Thanked: 485I'm glad you asked. The boots have a nice stacked leather sole which began life as a nice contrasting brown, with nice stitching. I wanted to preserve the contrasting colour (rather than use black all over and then dye the sole) so I use neutral to polish the sides of the sole, the welts and the arch under the foot and black on the rest. I find neutral on black tends to not be as shiny, so I can't simply use neutral all over. Yes, I know I'm over thinking this, and I know it's strange to polish the arch UNDER the boot...
