Thanked: 102White's 375 Farmer/Ranchers for boondocking. Johnson & Murphy walking shoes for everyday and Allen Edmonds for dress.Would wear Penny Loafers if I could find any that would fit my old feet. Would love a pair of John Lobb handmade oxfords but they cost more than the family sedan i am now driving. Would never wear anything suede, two tone or with a tassel on it. Nothing wrong with it, just not my style.

Shoes
Wolverine 1000 Mile boots are nice enough for any suit and most are made in the US of Horween leather.

Thanked: 485Hey they're cool. I like the black. Not sure about the pattern on the toe, though, however I do like the toe cap or whatever it's called.
BTW, talking about boots, I'm disappoint to see the my leather soles have worn through already. I've only had this my first pair of 'good' boots for five months. I wear them everyday but I work in an office; outside I wear them from the carpark to the office, that seems like fast wear, but the last pair of boots with leather soles I had were the old 'AB' army boots I had as a recruit. I'll have to find out how much it is to re-sole them...Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Carpet is a killer for boot soles.

back in the day mine were to the steel from kickin things and thinkin i was bad ...lol.. i ended up cuttin them out a bit and hittin them with emery cloth so i had a shine on the leather and the steel ... at one point i drilled holes in them and ran the metal studs out/ spikes of my leather jacket through them ...lol...
