You do know that the Blundies are now made in China and not Australia these days don't you?. If you were chasing Aussie made, I might recommend Redback, Mongrel or Rossi. There are other Aussie brands but these are three that I know are good quality.

I wear these Steve Maddens almost every day. Quality is questionable, but lord do they look good with my jeans.

Man, look at those flash Billabong thongs. Wish I was rich enough to afford a pair of Billabong Thongs !

Got your letter by the way Carl. I'll write a reply soon.

Yeah, the ones I saw were made in Vietnam, and the decline in quality from my old ones was noticeable. Very disappointing.

So replacements are on hold, I'm Sugru-ing up the leaks on the old ones, and keeping an eye out for alternatives - thanks for the tips. I'll check them out. I'm not so much hung up on Aussie-made per se, but rather quality, wherever they come from.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I have read your posts about climbing and at 237 lbs [Whatever that is in kilos!] I don't think that they would work for me even if my fingers are strong.

I agree with Mickr about the Billibongs. I use to wear them when I was younger but but now I can't stand anything between my toes.

    Default Aris Allen Wing Tip

A fairly old picture of them but I have had them for years. Aris Allen Wing Tips. Raw Hide Soles all the better to dance with.

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?
