There is nothing quite so fine as to know you did this two days ago

That and a nice scotch/whiskey to make sure to take the chill away.

Add a good cigar and I would say that equals a perfect day!

Did the dog make it out alright?

That kindling looks to perfect. I don't know if I could burn it there might be a set or two of scales in there!

Wow!! That's a lot of snow!!! Im just south of Toronto and its been 42 degrees for the past week. It sure doesn't snow here like it use to. I remember as a kid It was always snowing around here. The piles at the end of the drive way at Christmas time were huge!! Now every time Im out, every other house I drive by has a snowmobile on the front yard with a for sale sign on it.

Hot fire, old black and white movie and PJs on the couch. Spend the whole day and not feel guilt.

Looks like my place outside. We got our snow about six hours before you did. We've been told to expect another 8-16 inches tomorrow. The nice fire is great when you don't need it. This weekend our power was out for near three days and my gennie's not running yet. Then, the nice fire is really appreciated.

I don't have a fire place but I have the next best thing. Its safe for kids, dogs, and drunks. It doesn't really keep you warm but it sure gets the mood right!! Its easy to put out when your done too. Just that extra touch on Christmas morning!!

I miss my fire place back home. This apartment does not have one, in my personal opinion every dwelling should have one
