Thanked: 11601) for $3.00 it is more than likely a print. 2) Water color paper has a tooth to it. cold pressed is usually rougher and hot pressed smoother. Not to say you could not find a print paper that has tooth to it. 3) hold it up to light and see if it has a water mark which is an indicator of being an original, meaning the paper is original watercolor paper. 4) contact the seller for info. 5) take it to an art dealer. I could tell if I saw it up close but seeing a pic online would be near to impossible 6) Since she seems to be a contemporary artist, don't count on having a lost masters work in your hands(no offense to her). Beyond that...enjoy your new aquisition, Cheers

Sad News:
I have a print, it's a nice print, but just that. I used the link Vic provided & found the "dot" patterns throughout the image with my loop.
Thanks guys for all the help. I knew I could count on you.
********I would like to ask one of the Moderators to close this thread before guys like Gooser, Pixel & Jimbo find out I bought a fake watercolor & start logging foolish comments. Thank you, Hirlau *********
