Thanked: 1160Taking another look I see more numbers 563379 ? There are also various scratched numbers on the inside of that casing.Hard to read but , I could make out 30864 and 323974 , 3656 , 1555E Probably numbers of people who worked on it ? The more closer I look, the more scratched numbers I'm finding. At first they just look like scratches but theres numbers all over that back casing. I can't find what would look like an actual model number on this thing? I've been looking at some you tube vids and have seen similar watches, but I really am stumped here. I looked all over the bloody thing.

Thanked: 1160Okay..gotta hit the rack. I know this is getting way off topic of what I started out with here on this thread. But now I'm on a mission to figure out what I got here. This is way better than russian watches...Thanks Bigspendur. Course now If I get this thing fixed,I'm gonna have to get a fob chain for it and then a vest and...........I can feel my soul slipping back in time here.

The watch would be in the grade 936 range. They made a bunch between 936 and 922 which share 90% of the same parts. You would need the serial number to tell for sure. The watch is probably from around 1900 but again you need the serial number which should be on the mvmt. The stamped number on the case is the case number and the scratched numbers were from all the watch repairers who worked on it. Odd number models like 925 had hunting cases and even had the screw back.
Those two screws that butt up against the case are the case screws. Turn them and the entire mvmt can be taken out with face and all.
Either way it's great watch and should be running again. Parts are all available if you know who to contact. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
