I'll have to take a pic of these. I just found the pair of RM Williams black Engineer Boots I had made for me when I was in Australia. These things fit like a glove. Love wearing them on the bike!!

    Have fun.

RM's are excellent boots. I just wish they were still priced for the working man, and not the rich Station Manager or the Yuppie classes from the city though.

My son got me this from a flea market in Munich. It's quite nice. Seems to me military, maybe around the 70's? I have no idea what the little wooden thingies are for, maybe smacking the boots when they're naughty...

The box has a label that translates to 'belt wax', so I rubbed some on my belt and polished it by running it across the sock on my extended leg, to and fro. It's a nice little kit...

I think that the wooden sticks are wedges to put under the door of your room to keep others from barging in and interrupting your polishing.

Possibly to use as scrappers, should you get mud or large amounts of dirt around the soles.

I've been thinking that come fall I'm gonna pick me a pair of RM Williams. I'll have to do the online ordering since I don't plan going to .au in the next year or two, so hopefully it'll work out well.
I know I want them in the horsey leather and last time I looked there were only 2 models I really liked, but will have to research the sizing.

What's horsey leather? I never really liked RMs, especially the elastic sided ones...

My grandfather used to wear Cuban heeled RM's when he was a manager of an Outback Queensland Station. Cuban heeled is a little bit more of a dressy style I think. The lower standard heeled boots are more workman like. I love RM's, and elastic sided boots in general, but if you have ankle issues, elastic sides are not your friend. They don't have the same support as is offered by a lace up boot.
