Thread: contact wheel size?

I use a 4 and various smaller ones for razors, I also like having the wheels on their own arm instead of the flat platten, just too much going on when I need to focus on the wheel. I like the blaze in the really big grits, but if I can use a gator, that's my pick hands down. They just produce beautiful and easily controllable grinds for me.

Just set this up for grinding razors. For whatever reason, having the larger wheel has dramatically improved tracking. I also have a 4", 5" and smaller wheels down to 1/4" on separate arms.
