I will post a separate thread for this, but, yes... I forge... but usually giant knives. But I just made my first straight razor which I posted in the beginner's forum. It is still a work in progress. However... as to forging this razor... all I really did was hammer my steel down to a more reasonable starting thickness and used my propane forge for heat treat.

I'm going to start another thread starting with where I left off on my first attempt.... but don't expect a work of art. I was just trying to make something that could shave face hair. The next one will be prettier....
