Or maybe tottaly useless tools you had to devise in school because your instructor said,You have to make a tool from scratch that can transfer motion at 90 degs using no gears or pullys or cables,Friggin thing to me 6 mos.to make and get to work I hate it.But I hang on to it.

In concept was pretty simple, turn the crank, the levers transfer motion at 90 degs to the plate in the pillow block which than turns, getting it timed so that all worked took months, bend, lap, bend, ream, was exasperating as hell.
What do's it do?? not really much

Can we see it in action?
I understand it might not be much "action" but it's hard to grasp how it really works.

Heres another View,Is a series of 4 levers (rods) as you turn the crank one starts to pull, one starts to push, than it repeats.

I have an angle extension for 3/8 inch drive socket that works on the same principle.

It works good except it seems a little weak. I have never torqued on it very hard. I picked it up at an antique tractor show many years ago. {It is modern!} It just was such an interesting idea I had to have it.

Is a great idea but not to practical,If one componant is off by an RCH,the entire thing will sieze up and it also will take no tq. at all.
