Still waiting. I did email last week to verify that the money arrived ok. No reason it shouldn't have, but transferring that amount of money makes me nervous. Not because I worry about hackers or whatever, but because I always wonder whether I used the correct reference number etc.
My wife once wired money (800$ iirc) and accidentally switched the reference number and the account number. And through sheer bad luck, the reference number was actually a valid account number. Luckily it belonged to a company, and companyies automatically reverse the payment if the reference number doesn't match.Last edited by Bruno; 02-28-2013 at 11:33 AM.

Thanked: 28Do they ship internationally? Where else can I get a grinder like that? I haven't been able to find one like that locally, alot of them seem to be custom.

I think they ship internationally, but keep in mind that sending a hundred+ pounds of steel to the US will cost a lot of money.
And yes, these things are all custom made. No big company will sell such things because there is only a very small market for them, and they violate a number of safety norms because all the moving parts are in the open.
Anyway, if you live in the US, then your best bet is either a Bader or a KMG. They are made in the US and have a very good reputation. In the end you'll pay as much as for the model I've bought in germany, due to the difference between the dollar and the euro.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Yesterday I got the confirmation that it was ready for shipping.

Nice! It looks to be extremely well designed. The Mercedes of grinders! Enjoy!

Thanked: 1184I keep going back looking at it and changed my mind about borrowing it. I wouldn't want to put a speck on it. If it was mine I would probably grind for 5 minutes and clean it for 40. Sure is nice ! Can hardly wait to see what you make with it.
