I will give guys advice where I can, and I recently sent a lot of odds and ends out to members here whom I like already, and I think would get use from them, I have also exchanged soap samples, given away the first straight I got (after it had been pro honed) lent out some slate hones etc.
I would be a bit reticent to give stuff to new forum members as a lot of the time they seem to come and go, but I would lend things to people I knew personally, or that have been around here for a while.
The same generosity has been extended to me also.
