I have been jonesin' for a mint 6/8 Wusthoff Trident for quite a while.......

    Good luck Lynn....................

Oh yeah, I would love to find some nice warm hunting boots that are waterproof, easy to walk in and keep my feet warm in a deer stand..............

    In order:
    1. A set of hones. I have a Zulu Grey on the way but I need more stones. I'm thinking of buying a 1k, 3k and 8k Naniwa SS and a lapping plate. Opinions on that choice is highly welcome.
    2. A good strop. I have a homemade paddle in good size but I have no idea if the leather on that is any good. Its black, very thin and easy to stretch out.
    3. A razor to practise my honing on.
    4. Here comes everything else that is nice to have more of but that I don't really need. Soaps/creams, brushes, aftershaves, pre-shaves, styptic pencil, and so on...

I want to stop wanting, it's wearing me down and infecting too many of my thoughts. I really enjoy this little corner of the universe, and since I am basically antisocial, it is surprising that I even entered the Forum. But I get no pleasure from the wanting. I never seem to tire of looking at straight razors and learning about them.....then it happens, I see one, I want it and want without means is corrosive. Say maybe this was a little too heavy for this post....So I'll guess I'll want that Western Style Iwasaki Tamahagane that AFramesTokyo has not had for a maybe a year, but keeps the pic up on his site to torture me. It's easier to know that it is not really there.

Geez, you young fellers, you and Bombay need an 8gig thumbdrive to write your Christmas lists onto, the paper version would weigh too much to send to Santa.

Nothing wrong with wanting that razor, that's one very fine razor to lust after.

I would like a decent shave ready Razor so I can give away my dovo shavette and move to a real SR. Am looking at a DOVO and Strop set from SR Designs. (Told the Mrs christmas is comming and she said "Youre not that into christmas, (sigh) (pout) but I'll get it you want if you want me to". I said nah dont want one that comes with a bad attitude.
