    Default Any suggestions?

    So I've got a dilemma...

My wife and I are buying our own Xmas gifts this year and it's got me stumped. We've limited ourselves to $100 each, and I've got no clue what I should get, though I know i would like something shave related.

I've thought about SRD's felt strop with some diamond spray...then their modular set up...but then I think about a finishing stone...or maybe a 3" strop...and then I think maybe another razor...then I think about being confused on not know what the heck I want.

As far as what I've already got: 5 razors (1 new, the others vintage), a 2" strop, crox on balsa, and an old 3 line swaty. For soaps, I have a couple of the SRD ones, Cella, and Mitchells a Wool fat. Then of course there's a couple brushes and mugs somewhere in the mix.

This is driving me nuts...it's a lot harder to buy things for myself than for her!!! I'm sure she's laughing on the inside at my frustration.

Hmmm...as much as I'd love 50 razors, I think I may just pass that idea up

    Let's think about this logically.
You have limited yourself to $100 each
The modular strop is around $90 if I recall correctly
The strops can be had for under $100 easy
You could get several soaps and be under $100
The Naniwa 12k is around $75
And the diamond spray is fairly inexpensive....
Yup all of them are under a $100 each you should be good to go.....

Seriously looking at what you have in your line up a finisher would round it off nicely unless you have a want or need for the larger strop?
But this is just my 2 cents.

I like the way you're thinking! Too bad my bank account wouldn't agree though.

I'm sure his wife would rather have him wearing the cologne, than walking around with a Naniwa 12K in his pocket,,,,

I don't think I'm looking for a cologne or aftershave at the moment, the ones I have I enjoy as well as my wife...so for the time being, that's off the list.

Hey this is a variation of a quote from an old Mae West movie: 'Is that a Naniwa 12K in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?' Not many members will get this one.....Geezer?
