With all that, I've picked up some really nice finds at about $20CDN a pop, including a minty Heartring that I enjoyed shaving with yesterday

A while back I was at an antique store and was looking at several straights. I came across one that could have been rather nice were it not for the blade being almost completely covered in rust. Too bad because it had a worked back and marbled scales similar to what I've seen at John Crowley's site. I doubt the blade was worth saving but the asking price was about sixty plus. I think the dealer was overly optimistic but I understand why they try to charge so much. After all, rent for retail space can be a killer.
