    Told ya so!

    I ended up getting THIS ONE

    The local Wolf's had them on clearance(apparently Panasonic has just intro'd a couple of replacement models) and the deal was just too sweet to pass up.

    Excellent choice. Actually, that's the camera I plan to get if I can quit buying Dremel attachments and sell a few more razors...

    It's marketed to serious amateur photographers as a point-and-shoot that allows full user control. You'll have a lot of room to play...

    The prices on the TZ1 are dropping fast from what I understand. Panasonic has dicontinued that model and replaced it with the TZ2 and TZ3. Both with more features and whatnot.

    Good pick on that one. I had forgotten about the Panasonic Lumix. My first digital was a Lumix, though it was some years ago. The Leica lens is great. You should be very happy with it.
