I bought some cheap but very good handmade glycerine soap from ebay that has a lavender scent to which i emptied the small amount of lavender essential oil i had left in a bottle. I do find myself smelling it but its fine, i can give up any time i want!

I remember Dr Spendur once told me he conducted a rehab session for a group of folks who had the very malady. He said the scientific name of it was proboscis scentosis shavararia. He said it was very dangerous because once it gets out of hand those affected start to exhibit deviant behavior by smelling everything much like a dog does. Once you start sniffing certain areas it spells big trouble for you.

    Better watch out.

And I'd add: "And those you love."

You, sir, are obviously a wise and seasoned shaver!

Me too. There is something better about the smell off a brush than straight from a tub. It may be the combination of all the different soap scents combined and made more subtle.

I also strop razors on occasion, even though I'm not going to shave.
