Gillette Fusion "FlexBall"
So the thing with most products today is they are designed to be obsolete. Designed so that a "new" model comes out every year. Its the world we live in. It promotes profitability.
Anyway, we have all laughed at Gillette as they have added blade after blade in their cartridges. There's redundancy - and then there is just silly. Moreover, there are just so many blades you can add before it becomes inefficient - and they are there.
Sooooo - in an effort to create more demand, now they have come up with this!
The FlexBall:

But this time, I think they are on to something! Seems like a good idea to me. I'll never try one - but what do you think? Does it intice you??David

I saw a demo of the flexball razor the other day at the store and just about fell over laughing. Next thing will be to add a battery to it so vibrates like previous models.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Thanked: 1185I'd have to call shenanigans. If I were the British dude that runs Dyson vacuum cleaners I'd sue
That razor looks almost as scary as the Hot Wheels Spud Razor abomination
Uh yeah...How 'bout no!
And of course what discussion of ridiculous unnecessary shave gear would be complete without this little beauty.
Ya know, call me crazy but I'll stick to a good ole straight, some MWF and a splash of Clubman. The older I get, the better I was

Well over all I have to agree. Its one gimmick after another an we all know the truth. They don't come close to a good DE or straight shave. The only thing I have to disagree on is the "hot wheels" headblade razor. Ive used one for over ten years on my head almost exclusively. I do DE when I have the time and it is a better shave. But for a quick smooth comfortable shave they do work. Same reduction lather reduction process though..... The bottom pic above reminds me of the Bane character from batman lol

Keep in mind Gillette pays folks a lot of money to come up with "the next and newest invention". So, once they've maxed out on blades they can go in other directions to modify the razor with all kinds of other do-dads.
