I'm wondering though how this trend will influence things. If you shift from hot water to room temperature then cool water...how long before you're dry shaving? LOL

Mike, I'm sure someone will advocate dry shaving with flint sooner or later

Thanked: 3228Good write up. Been using cold water for going on 2 years and don't see going back to hot water anytime soon. It fits my minimalist approach. I live in a climate that hits -30C to -40C and still only run the cold tap for a shave even then. Cold water shaving is just another option/tool to try. For some it works for others not so much. The only thing in shaving that is "superior" is what works for you personally.
