Thread: First Barber Shop Shave

When I got into shaving with a straight, I brought a couple of my razors to my old Italian barber, asked him if he would shave me with one and give me some tips, since it was my razor, he said no problem, learned very quickly what a straight can do in the hands of a master barber and brought home the fact that it's not my beard, the soap or the razor being the reason I wasn't getting great shaves at first...

Wow. That really shows how much of it that's in our own hands (everything!). It's both fascinating and depressing. Haha! 👍
