Thank you to all who were able to help out with supplies and positive thoughts through this. You have my deepest respect.
There are still a few items inbound that I am aware of. The cutoff for items to me is 6/10. So we are down to the wire and I think we have done very well here.
My wife and I will repackage with bubble wrap where necessary and pack as many large Priority Mail boxes for APO's as is necessary. I have decided to distribute items as
evenly as possible through out the boxes so if one box should be lost (God forbid) in transit our Soldiers will still receive some of all items donated.
I believe I can print the APO US Postage Labels online as well as the customs forms for each box and hopefully I can pay the postage online as a part of the process.
I will post another quantity update just before we pack the shipment boxes and let the Cav Platoon Sergeant know the counts as well.

Makes me damn proud to be an american, a veteran, and a wet shaver.

Man this makes me smile. For all that don't know, what Bob has done for these you men can't be put into words. If you don't know the grind of a deployment you can't really understand how much this will help morale.

Well Gentlemen, 5 large APO Priority mail boxes departed today bound for our Cavalry Troop Scouts. The boxes averaged 9 pounds per. I will provide updates and messages from the Scout Troop after they receive wet shaving supplies.
Supplies received beyond the needs of the Troopers will be sent on to Bill tomorrow for use in our monthly give away program.
Again, thank you to our generous membership. No help is required for the postage as it is being covered by a very generous organization.Bob

I gave what I could and I'm glad that I could donate to such a deserving cause. I'm proud to have been part of this!
Now if only None of Them cuts the hell out of themselves right out of the chute or cuts a strop nearly in 1/2 that would be the Icing On Top of the Cake!

Got an email from Platoon Sergeant Walters today and wanted to pass it along here.
APO mail service is much improved since my days in the Army.
Pictures from the Cav troops will be put up here as they come in.
"Bob,
Myself and the guys are forever thankful for what you have put together for us. I have received all five boxes and have already begun handing everything out. I gotta try and get ahold of some of my night shift guys taken care of, but I know they are really looking forward to receiving their razors.
I have already begun taking some photos for ya, to show you our appreciation. Later on I'm going to try my best to get a group photo if I can.
I really like the 100 year old razor you had set aside for me. It's restoration has well been brought back. I was a bit to excited and shaved with it when I have already straight shaved the night prior so my face is a lil beat up right now lol. In a few days I'll be sure to get ya a pic of myself shaving to for ya.
Thank you so much again, it was very pleasant to see everyone's faces light up with excitement. Definitely an increase in morale already Bob, and it's all thanks to you bud.
Thank you again
Chris

Some pictures from the Cav Scouts have begun to roll in here.
Once again, I want to say that it is you Gentlemen, our membership, who made this happen for these Soldiers.
