What do I know? Well that's debatable. But from here, the way I see it, the first part of this journey is all about the chase. Much like chasing women, the next one offers the promise of being the best. The next cream, the next razor, the next brush....you get the idea. But once you've sampled enough hardware and software to know what you like, you find that the rest is just noise. There's always room for trying a new razor or brush or cream/soap, but where it's at is in how you get to know yourself and what you want. At that point, it's all about delivering a satisfying shave. Maybe you're proficient with the razor at this point. Maybe you can hone your razors and get a great edge. So now what? Does your happiness lie in being the expert with the last word or does it lie in delivering to yourself the great Sunday morning shave the you imagined when you first started? What do I know about shaving/razors at this point? It's knowing that the latter is more important than the former. Take pleasure in the shave. The rest is just a means to an end.

Thanked: 3225If you can't get a good shave with a shave ready razor, a $10.00 boar brush and an Arko shave stick YOU are doing something wrong not the tools. The rest is just fluff but much fun.
