    Default Damn it!

Finished a fairly stellar shave. Started my storage routine, leather strop, wipe and oil the blade. While letting the extra oil drip from the tip, I sneezed causing the blade to strike the rim of the jar.
Nicked it smack dap in the middle of my Dovo Carrie. The damn thing is, I finished honing it last week for the first time.

Well, at least I have 20-30 others to use, til I get around to honing this one.

    DARN IT! Oh well......

Changed it up, to a little something more PG.

Har! Firstly, get some TufGlide and save the aggravation of the oiling thing. Slather, wipe off, forget it.
    Have found nothing equals it.
    YMMV

+1... Except that YMWV is more appropriate ( Your Mileage Won't Vary!)

Is it safe for skin contact? It appears mostly for pocket bades.

Has not killed me yet after 8 years or so. Slather it on. Wash hands. Wipe it off thoroughly. Good forever in my lifetime. JMO.

One time, or after each use?

I expected a lot worse from the wording of the thread. I've done it too, as well as thousands of others. Sure makes a guy mad, but the blade can always be fixed. Hone it, shave with it.
