Thread: MOVEMBER 2015

As promised, my blindfolded shave. This is only the single take, full version. To help you wade through the dull bits, the first few minutes are spent with me wrangling the "blindfold" onto my head . Also, the last few minutes are me rinsing my face. It cut out the last minute or two of video because, apparently, our point 'n shoot camera has a cap on video length.

Edited to add: grrr... Shaved, with the the camera rolling, and was swiftly whisked away by SWMBO to her friend's house. . So I will have to squeeze in any uploading/editing sometime around dinner.

This is an ongoing issue. I think the major factor is the synthetic brush I'm using. It only retains water through cohesion, rather than absorption. You may have noticed the "drip drip drip" of my faucet. That is so I can get a drop or four of warm water on my brush when needed. Not as easy when blindfolded, but I still managed once or twice. My other brush is a cheap "badger" brush made in China, & sheds more than my Sheltie in the summer. The Omega synthetic did teach me how to face lather .

I would have been able to explain most of this, at least briefly, during the video, if it weren't for the cloak & dagger necessity of the filming. Reasons for which I explained in the last paragraph of the video description . Side note: it seems most people completely forget that the video descriptions even exist. This was my first ever video upload, but I still put in the effort to use the options available to me.

After looking at that blindfold & listening to the lady in the closet behind you, I would swear this is a preview for " Silence of The Lambs 2 "

I know November ended 6 days ago, but I clung to the 'stache for an extra week hoping it would thicken up some. The results:



That isn't a shadow on my upper lip, that's a light dusting of hair. Just days away from 30 and still have the facial hair of an awkward 17 year old kid. D@&% you genetics...
