I want to thank SRP for this movember thread.
Although I havent actually signed up (bad me) I did start letting the hair under my nose and around my chin to grow.
As a novice straight shaver this was probably the smartest thing I could have done! I was getting fairly proficient under my nose but was still butchering my chin a bit. Since I have stopped shaving there my technique has greatly improved. I am now able to use the straight every day, something I couldnt do before as I needed to heal up a bit between shaves.
Shaving more often=more practice, more practice=better shaving.
In fact I can now use alcohol based aftershaves for the first time in my life as my skin is no longer irritated by shaving and doesnt react negatively to the alcochol.
So once again thank you for this thread that has resulted in a rapid increase in my shaving skills.

You fun around, but,, when I was about 9 years old, we kids used to hang out in the lobby of the Goulds post office( the only place that A/C in the area) we used to flip throw the photos on the wall, they were hanging on double ring binders,,,,one day my buddy pointed out to me, "Hey, ain't this your uncle?"
