    I am pretty confident with my honing technique. I think on that front some stones in between the 3K and the Escher will solve a lot of this... Maybe an 8K and a 12K.

    Nonetheless, I think send one to Oz is gunna be the go. Then pick up some more stones.

    Yea, good idea… it’s the edge. Escher’s are finishers I use them after a good 12k Super Stone edge.

    If you look at the bevel and edge with good magnification you will see deep stria and chipping at the edge.
