Thanked: 4206Hey Scott, enjoy the de shaves if your space isn't right right now..but do give em some protective oiling, or renwax first. And try to keep your weekend shave a straight shave to keep the muscle memory goin.
Personally a 5 minute straight shave in the am is not a problem if I must. I jut prefer the leisurely ritual time a night shave brings.
See you at the next gtg regardless of weapon of choice at the time.

The reality is that everybody has ups and downs in life, some times are tougher than other, even if it only means a situation which is not ideal for you. Best wishes to you. Hopefully not too far ahead you will be back shaving like you enjoy, in an environment where you can have more privacy.

Your thread come just in time! Few days ago I returner after 3,5 year of SR shaving break during which I switched and used only DE razor. It was good time with quick nice shaves, and now I will have my favourite SR back. Now I have more free time to enjoy it.
So make a break and come back with new ardour.
