Thanks everyone for your replies. I have been away over the Easter break in the bush so no internet. When I got home (yesterday) I found I had an email from aframes. He had been in Japan apparently and only just returned to Hawaii. My strop is on the way as confirmed by Paypal so all is good. Cheers.

Takeshi takes trips to Japan a couple of times a year. I think besides visiting friends and relatives he buys stones and all manner of razors.

Yea he's a good seller. Just beware that he does stamp his own stones. I know this because I returned a stone after finding it had a toxic wire. It was relisted with new stamps on it, and no mention of the toxic wire in the new description. He takes returns well and has good prices on strops, so I can't hate too much
