Yes of course it the choice of the user based on need and wants. I just wanted point out that honing need not be a rabbit hole or some 5th chamber of hell one must sit in waiting for redemption. it can be done without too much pain at all and the reward is self reliance and an increased enjoyment in their hobby. As far as malls go i think they get the best foot traffic there maybe but i'm from the north east could be different in other parts of the country.

A little late to the thread, but...
The majority of the guys I know that I have AoS products were given the products from wives/girlfriends/mothers who do shop in the malls.
I think that is AoS's marketing plan is brilliant, regular men aren't going to go shopping for shaving related stuff - they will keep on using the same
old cartridge/canned goo/aftershave that they have always used. But the women in their lives will buy the stuff as birthday/Christmas/Father's day gifts.

My own fell victim to this and bought me a shave brush from AoS that I would have never paid that much for. I didn't have the heart to tell her that she spent way too much money for a mediocre brush.

Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast
