I'd bet that is celluloid. Rare to find inlays in either bone or ivory. Some older Sheffield razors had inlays in ivory but you can usually tell.
This is the auction where the guy calls them 'bone' but I'd bet ivory ;

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 39To help my RAD I am selling off most of my 5/8ths razors and my "Singles". I have kept one 5 day (and counting) set of 5/8ths because they were in business only between 1913 to 1927. Also to keep RAD in check, go look for "in good shape" boxes for your razors, its neat finding a in "PERFECT" condition box for your Bengall razor.

I don't buy too many razors these days. However, if that DD Napoleon ever appears somewhere I better move fast. I'll bet Jimmy would pinch it in a heartbeat.

I try to avoid the ebay, its a evil place and only grants temporary relief of RAD. Go to the antique shows and stores far and wide, and you will come across one of those razors that will let you ride that RAD high for some time.
