I have to kind of agree with Phrank.

Since I've started shaving with a straight my morning is much more calm and I ease into my day.
Even with an 8 month and 3 year old, it isn't hectic. Well I don't let it become hectic. I focus on what I am doing, enjoy the moment, and the little guys seem to as well. The 8 month old loves watching me strop the razor before and after. The 3 year old, well he has his own safety razor (no blade of course) and his own brush and soap. So it's a dad and son thing many mornings. With the littlest one watching like "when do I get my own stuff"

So my morning isn't filled with "tasks", it has a sense of calm, even in all the chaos which does sometimes come with young ones

Oh yeah and the fine smell of great shaving soaps and creams
