    Default Alright, here they are

Attached are the cases I have been creating...tell me what you think.

The comparison picture has the TI case in the center so you can see the "inspiration" - I still think they are cheesy.

Personally, I like the first set the best.

    Default Thanks!

Thanks X, I haven't really thought about cost - I have a whole scad of them sitting here now and I keep making more...What would you be willing to pay? I know that I will not make anything on these, because the time involved to cut, pound holes, glue, set, lace, dye and burnish the edges will not be worth the time - but I enjoy putting them together and perfecting yet another strange handicraft (kind of like honing, no?)

The colors in these photos are NOT good, the first set are really a toffee brown, and the scars you see on the leather are brand marks I had to put on these cases - me being macabre. The burgundy leather cases are very rich looking, with the black edges dyed, I guess you would call the color Cordovan, and they look smoother and just richer, where as the brown look more rustic - you will notice that the edges are not dyed on several of the brown cases, because I was experimenting. The leather is just DEFINITELY better than the TI cases, those things are pitiful for what you pay for the razors, IMHO.

I will try to get some better pictures up...

$10? I guess there'd be shipping on that, but if that would cover your materials, your time would be yours to spend. That's in the ballpark for what Dovo sells theirs for, but I have never liked the snap on them.

    Kriton,

If $10 is what you'd sell for, I'd take a couple.

They look really nice, and being hand-made is a plus.
