Thanked: 38Scars are nothing to worry about. Keep it clean so it doesn't become infected. Else you may lose it...

Well, as Rod Stewart says "First Cut is the Deepest".
Heal well.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanks for the well wishes. I'll be fine. I heal well still when it comes to this type of stuff. Now if I had cut the finger off, I'd have an issue. Got the last razor finshed up even with the dirty looks from the wife. You know the old saying, if you fall off a horse you get right back on!
It's just Sharpening, right?

Six stitches is a nice slice...
The good news is a clean slice correctly cared for will heal nicely.
Enjoy the holiday and watch out for paper cuts unwrapping packages.

Jeez, man. Careful shaving with that one - it has a taste for blood now. Heal up quick!

Thanked: 292Well, that shows that you know how to hone a keen edge.
It is also a good reminder to all of us that straight razors need to be respected at all times, not just when we are shaving.
The nice thing about razor cuts is that they normally heal quickly. I hope that is the case with yours.
