I’ve been meaning to get in on the pre order for Hallows. I just haven’t done it yet. I have to remember that tomorrow. I do have a new Tony Miller premium steerhide strop coming. I’m not a stropaholic but I thought it was time to give another version of my favorite strop a go.

I'm curious to know how the Acqua di Parma performs.
I'm nearly out of the original. It does cost a bomb and you don't get a lot.

It’ll probably be the first thing I try. With all these awesome artesian soaps, I just can’t see how the price is justified short of producing exclusivity - which is fine, I just don’t need to participate in “that” club.

    Wow! Cool.

What is it about AdP though that justifies the at min $60 increase in price I wonder...

Yea, I'd agree, AdP is pretty much a superb shaving cream, absolutely one of my favourites and will always be in my rotation. Thanks - this will be my choice for this evenings shave, was going to be C&S Oxford & Cambridge....

Hey Phrank, after your shave tonight, can you tell me exactly which one you have, or take a pic along with a little review? I’d really appreciate it. Do you have the aftershave too?

    Here’s why:

I need one, maybe two more soap/aftershave combos to round things out, and that Noble Otter is calling my name even though I said I’d wait and see what the AdP was like first.

I can’t wait to try my sample! But it’s not here till Saturday or Monday depending on the minute according to fedex and I have a ridiculous sense of urgency about buying a new combo lol!

Remind me why I should wait!
