After multiple band aids failed to keep the red stuff from leaking all over i wrapped my finger in TP and then masking tape to hold it on

Don't go to the ER you might get Covid.

My thoughts exactly, avoid the ER if you can.

I sliced my index finger 5 years ago when cleaning between the scales of a beautiful gilded heljestrand with a q-tip. I sold that cursed razor.

I went to the ER and triage told me I needed stitches. 8 hours later, the Doctor tells me that I won’t be needing stitches as my wound had started to close up.

I'm sorry to hear about your finger, Alan! I hope it heals quickly.

A few months ago I almost sliced off the tip of my left middle finger while slicing carrots with a dull knife. It went almost to the bone. Hand and finger injuries tend to take a long time to heal because they're always in use, so try to be careful with it.

Definitely no ER for me, they have more important things to do than look after morons. I didnt take that much off my finger anyway but as it is my right index finger I will be pretty useless for a while (Ok more useless than usual)
