    Default I did something stupid

While trying to get a blade to fit correctly into my autostrop I slipped a d cut off the tip of my finger. not too much didnt hit bone or anything but lots of blood. Its hard to type with just a left hand so please excuse errors. So basically i will be growing a beard for a bit as there is noway I can use my right hand or will let my left anywhere near a razor.

    Careful bro!

I still haven't tried one so heal up and give it a go again. I'm waiting to hear about the perfect shave from that monster.

Or the tradesman's bandage: paper towel and electrical tape. Duct tape works well too but it will adhere to your skin if it's left on very long.

Hang in there my friend. It will heal and you will be back to shaving. Stay well and safe.

I did that with a kitchen mandolin slicing cucumbers several years ago. I still get twinges at the end of the finger when I think about it — like right now! It must sting - there are a lot of nerve endings there.
