Thread: Razor to Knife Conversion

This is an attempt to help others like myself who came here from the knife making world. The world of straight razors is a whole new ball game. I had to learn the lesson that just because I knew how to make knives did not mean that I knew how to make razors. It's kind of like if you know how to speak Spanish, French and Italian, that doesn't mean that you know anything about speaking Chinese. Below is a conversion chart that I hope you find helpful in your journey into the straight razor world. I'm sure that there are some other terms that I have missed and we could add later.
