    David,

Please post a picture of your razor with the flaming scales..... I want to see what they look like.

    New SRPTILE #2?

When Classis shaving runs out of #1 And what should we have for scales? Should we vote now, just incase this ever comes to fruition?

Here are some pictures of what I think are flamed scales on my TI SRP #69. There definately is flame, but I don't know if this is what classicshaving considers the flamed model. This would be good enough to be considered a low end "flame top" on a guitar.

Probably when the first edition sells out

This edition has been around for probably a year and a half. That's a long time, and a lot of money, to be sitting in a warehouse for a limited edition razor sold only to the forum.

I don't think classic shaving is going to be interested in fronting another edition considering they still have the first. When the first was being considered there was doubt about whether it would ever happen and much discussion about if they could sell the minimum they had to commit to from TI. If they had gone with Dovo they could have ordered a much lower number. Ray at classic shaving finally basically went way out on a limb and fronted the money to buy them. Of course the membership has swelled since then but we'll see. As I recall when members were asked if they were interested and how many they would buy people made all kinds of claims but when it was time to order I think they sold about 140 or so and most people bought more than one so....

Maybe lynn could chime in with more about the history of the SRP razor.

Well we have a LE razor already... How about a LE strop?? Going with another razor I think would be risky unless another maker was able to give us lower production (Dovo?) Personally I think a different piece of equipment would stand a better chance.

    Thanks David,

That's what I was looking for, oddly enough....my #85 has the same type woodgrain on the scales..so I guess I have the flamed version as well.

I do not have any others to compare too, perhaps they all have this type of woodgrain?

    Thanks
