Several months back I had my ankle operated on and was in a cast. It was such I couldn't stand on it, so to shave I sat on the bathroom floor put my wife's makeup mirror on the closed toilet and shaved that way. Last month I broke my wrist and was in a cast I still shaved.. So as you can see I am mentally challenged but a dedicated str8 shaver.

Thanked: 1I would probably be real shy with the alcohol based after shave lotion!

Jeez Rich, that sounds pretty bad! My (superstitious) mother would claim that something's up and giving you bad Feng Shui. Hope your luck changes soon. (I'm wondering, does it count as commando when you have a cast on? )
I agree with others here: I'd either have to be incapable of holding a straight through injury or through inebriation.

Depends.
If you have road rash or a bad cut on your face, it may be wise to lay off shaving until you are healed.

I pierced my ear and have one or two scars, but Im still going strong. I think the battle scars are sexy

I sliced my ear tonight pretty good. I'm usually really careful around my ears because I almost lopped off my lobe one time. It was back when I was first using my left hand and going ATG

Thanked: 6I just cut myself pretty good last night, honing (or getting ready to). Wasn't paying close enough attention and my thumb slipped while I was taping the spine of the razor.....*whack*! A nice slice, about a half inch wide and probably a third of an inch deep and a nice little flap of skin.
Some rubbing alcohol and a bandaid later.... it finally quit bleeding this morning.

I'm currently dealing with sciatica, and one of the side effects is that I can't stand in one position for over 15-20 seconds without pain coming on. I spent two weeks without a shave. Finally I moved a chair to the bathroom just to get my fix!
