SRP GIVE AWAY
All Right all you members, we have 9 days till it starts. OK, Now that I have your attention. That is exactly correct we now have nine days till I open three threads. One for newbies, One for Mid, And one for Old Guys. Newbie will be for all of you gents that joined in August 2007 thru February 15th, 2008. Mids will be the Join date from February 2007 thru July 2007. Old Timers are anyone that joined in January 2007 or earlier.
Now, Here is the Rest of the story. I have more things than that small amount, Soooo, We are going to start having a give away a month. It may be a general give away. it may be only two different groups. I do not know at this time. That will be decided on a month to month basis. It may not be much. It may only be a brush, it may only be soap, it might be a complete set up. That is why we will have an on going donation thread. So for right now, keep watching the General, or the Newbie forum. I will post there every month, Depending on what is given Away, with a picture of the offered prize, or prizes so you can sign up.
If you have something to donate. Please PM me and I will give you an address to send the donation to. I would like to have all donations in one place so that I can tell what we have, In case the crash of 08 happens again, also you can PM me if you have any questions.Last edited by str8razor; 02-01-2008 at 09:35 PM.

Thanked: 131But.... why? Where is it coming from? Why do they not need it?
In the words of Eric Cartman; that post "...has warped my fragile little mind"

Sandy,
SRP has a long tradition of our members loaning other members razors to try out, giving newbies that can't afford a get started razor one to use until they can afford one, and several times a year we hold raffles of donated razors, strops, mugs, soap, etc. ... usually targeted at the newbies. It's all in the spirit of "pass it on".
We also have a history of taking donations of razors and associated items for distribution to our troops serving overseas. And I believe recently there was a move afoot to gather some donations for veterans.

Thanked: 131Ooooooooooooh..... I'm still a newbie by that reckoning
Wait, i'm not sure i'm proud of that or not....
Although it does still give me a good excuse for poor honing technique and still cutting myself occasionally.

Thanked: 0This forums is so generous! I'm glad in the vastness of internet which has a lot of garbage(to be honest) there are still places like this where members really care about what they're doing. Awesome job guys, keep up the good work .
