Thanked: 7Anyone used the honing service from theinvisibleedge
Has anyone here used the honing service from theinvisibleedge.com? I've just ordered a new razor and am looking for a honing service in the UK but I can't find any opinions about this one. I'm also somewhat dubious about it for (not particularly solid) reasons I don't want to go in to.
There don't seem to be any UK based alternatives.Last edited by trewornan; 02-11-2008 at 01:50 AM.

I know there's at least one UK member that offers honing services here, but I'm blanking on the name... I'll go see if I can hunt em down real fast...

I bought a shave-ready razor from The Invisible Edge, and was quite pleased. The razor was very clean, sharp, and smooth. It's also held it's edge quite well over many shaves without requiring any touch-up. Seems like a class act to me.

I bought a shave ready razor from him.
It was good, but I did finish it with the 12k after as I believe he only finishes them up to 10k(correct me if I'm wrong.)
I have bought a few things from him and always found him to be communicative and reliable.
