anyways I've been waiting on near a month for a strop ordered. I sent an email to Keith the other day just to be sure all was well (and that my packaged had not forgotten and never shipped) but have not heard back yet. priority shipping should not take this long...
    Ed,
Keith is sometimes very slow to reply to emails. I would suggest that you call him to check on your order. My last order took about 6 weeks to arrive due to production problems, but was well worth the wait. It is frustrating however.

Just got off the phone with Keith and he assures me he is alive. However he's had a bout of the flu and his part time helper is busy doing tax stuff. Yeh I know what is a tax preparer doing working for Keith but hey you do what you do.
But anyway he's filling all orders and no one needs to worry. I've been waiting also and he promised mine would go out no later than Friday.
He does really good work and since he's basically a one man shop he gets behind but he does deliver and I would wholeheartedly recommend his products.
And his hard cotton strops are just amazing, sort of a cross between a strop and a hone, they have a lot of stiffness to them and don't bend like leather therefore they make excellent pasted strops.

Forgot to add that I've used the pasted strop with the CO on it many times but yesterday I went overboard and got a razor so sharp it was almost too sharp, like a new feather straight razor blade and of course the damn thing cut me. LOL

Update: I received my .5 a couple days ago. I also received the felt and plastic (mentioned above). I figure the felt will make a nice strop. Plastic, I do not know what that is for? Now, once the 4 sided paddle strop from Tony arrives, game on. I also have .25 diamond, so I'll be experimenting a bit....

The plastic is likely a spreader for your paste. Just a guess.

I ordered the CrO2 liquid a while back and Keith put a piece of felt in for spreading. In my case he responded to my email right away.

I guess we're too conditioned for the instant "Your order has shipped," message.

    Cheers,
    Randy
