If anyone catches the new flick "The Lovely Bones" which comes out on Jan 15th, I noticed a straight razor in it

The insane weasel in "who framed Roger Rabbit" wields a straight, not for shaving though.

Also noticed that in one of those old Agatha Christie tv-films Hercule Poirot (David Suchet, of course) is seen leaving Geo F Trumpers. Many brushes and a strop is seen on screen.

Yes, and Liam Neeson cuts his face on purpose.

    Gave me a shiver

And all this time I thought I was the only one on the planet who had seen that movie. I haven't read this entire thread so forgive me if this has been mentioned. Tombstone, Doc Holiday gets a straight shave, is interupted but returns and the exchange went something like
    Doc: "barber"
    Barber: "yessir"
    Doc: "you may proceed suh"

Speaking of Gary Oldman, he gets a straight shave from a blind chick in The Book of Eli. Brave man...

In "The Untouchables" there is a scene wher Al Capone (De Niro) is getting a shave from a barber with a straight.

Cool, not mentioned yet! I don't recall the name of the movie but it stars Kevin Bacon. He is sent to prison unjustly and the warden cuts his achilles tendons with a str8 razor. It cripples him for life/ rest of film. Do I get a winky button for 21 pages worth of scanning?
