Thread: New to SRP!

Hello everyone,
My name is Dean and I have recently joined this outstanding forum! I am a 43 year old police officer living in a large metropolitan city in sunny, palm tree swaying Florida. I am new to this forum but have been a straight razor shaver my entire life! I hone and maintain all of the razors in my arsenal! I was taught this skill/art as a young boy by my grandfather who shaved with a straight as well as a DE. I personally use a straight razor that was not only his razor but his father's! (my great grandfather's). I only recently found out about this forum. Up until now I was going on the assumption that I was the lone ranger when it came to the art of the straight razor. I am pleasantly surprised to find so many knowledgable and helpful straight razor users on this site. I look forward to getting involved in your conversations and learning from you all. Perhaps I too can impart some of my experiences and knowledge on to those who are just starting out. Thanks to all of you again.
