Thanked: 3795You know you are spending too much time on SRP when you draw blood and your first thought is "Where's my camera?"

Thanked: 84I was doing a bit of too fast stroping with my Rolls Razor, my knuckle touched the spine of the blade it flipped out of the holder and sliced side on into my pointing finger, luckily, the bone stopped it going deeper
Once it healed, I did it again
Well in Georgian times they used to go in for a bit of "bleeding" didn't they!
I now strop the Rolls at a more sedate pace, keeping my knuckles well away from the flipping (good play on words there!?) blade.
Till next time.

I almost got a cut by accidentally hitting the handle of the razor while reaching with my opposite hand to stretch while the blade was poised above my cheek. Lucky for me I didn't hit it hard enough to drive the edge into my face. This happened a couple of times when I first started and since i have been more mindful about where my hand is in relation to the razor.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I seem to get mine on the same cheek (two so far on the right cheek.)Well it is just my first week of shaving with a str8 razor. Did I mention my shakey hand? Taking a deep breath and relaxing keeps the shakes at bay for a while though. My wife caused a moment of panic this morning when she narrowly missed bumping me!

Women in the bathroom seem to be a hazard around here.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
