There are some really funny "Barber Shop" scenes in Grand Torino with Clint Eastwood. At one point he asks for a straight razor shave and the barber goes to get a hot towel when they cut to a new scene. You don't actually see him get a shave but it is referenced.

Not a movie, but I was reading SRP with MTV playing in background and I noticed that at the beginning of music video "Bodies", Robin Williams (the singer) lathers up with a brush and continues to his face "shave" (at points actually incorrectly stropping) with patinaed straight. (around 0:30)
